Born from frustrations
This lotion for extra dry skin was born from first-hand experience with a debilitatingly dry skin condition that made it made most days very difficult. I’ll explain.
If you’ve lived with extremely dry skin for any number of days, you’re probably constantly scanning the skincare isle for something-anything that could just make it stop, even for just a few hours.
Now, imagine having extremely dry skin and the only place you feel comfortable is in water. That was my ex-husband’s life. He is not a fish but his skin obviously thought otherwise.
Naturally, we were always on the lookout for a cream that would keep his skin moist and comfortable all day. Even if all day was too much to ask, we would have settled for several hours without reapplication. But that proved difficult.
After trying so many creams and lotions, we were both emotionally and physically exhausted from dashed hopes and searching for and trying all those creams and lotions.
Finally, I had enough and decided to take matters into my own hands – to made the cream/lotion we had been searching for. Yes, it was hard – way harder than I imagined but it was oh so worth it. In the end, it was a success and it literally changed everything for my ex-husband. With one application his skin feels good all day and the best part is that he doesn’t need a reapplication.

how it works
It’s formulated at a slightly lower pH of 5 which closely matches healthy skin’s pH. This allows it to break through the dried up top layer of skin and transport hydrating, moisturizing, and other healthy ingredients into the inner layer of skin for instant relief.
Additionally, lower skin pH has been shown to improve the skin barrier function which is responsible moisture retention among other functions. Extremely dry skin has a “faulty” barrier function which allows moisture to seep out, thus leaving your skin dry, irritated, and uncomfortable.
This lotion for dry skin is made with other skin loving ingredients such as aloe vera, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, etc. which all work together to boost the skin’s moisture content as well as improving its overall look and feel.

SHEA BUTTER
Shea butter is a powerful emollient that help soothe, smooth and protect the skin from water loss. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that alleviate skin irritation and in the process, strengthens the skin barrier.
Additionally, Shea Butter is rich in Vitamins A and E. Vitamin A stimulates collagen production which helps to keep the skin firm hydrated, supple, and youthful. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant which helps prevent cell damage.
HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic Acid boosts skin moisture retention due to its ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. It also maximizes collagen levels in the skin. Collagen is responsible for the structure and shape of skin.
GLYCERIN

Before you use this cream, it’s imperative that you either take a shower or bath so that your skin is clean- free from oils, dirt, and grime. Clean skin helps the moisturizer penetrate faster and deeper without any hindrance.
Scoop out a small amount of cream with your finger and rub together in the palms of your hand – this will help with an even application.
Apply to your skin making sure that you pay attention to one section of your skin at a time.
Let your skin dry out for a couple minutes before putting on clothes.
Repeat as needed.
This lotion or cream is suitable for anyone with moderate to extremely dry skin.
